| Lower Liffey Race - 31 August 2008 |
A great turn out for the Kerrygold Lower Liffey Race this year by DCC members. With a 3rd place Dean Harron (13) is now top of the DCC Challange Cup over taking old timers Ken Moore and Brian Murray.
Ken and Brian came in 7th in the K2/T2 class being beaten by new partnership Andy Harron and Patrick Woods who finished in 6th place. Denis Gallagher and Edward Broekaart had a tight race too with Denis finally beating Edward to finish 10th and 11th respectively in Division 4.
Best achievement for the DCC however was Rachel Bourne who beat stiff local competition to finish 2nd in the Ladies GP class. |
